  4. Yearbooks must by ordered online this year.Please pick up an informational flier at the Information Table.  Deadline to order is April 3rd.
  5. Classroom changes for the rest of the year. All of these classes are in the north hallway off of the Sanctuary:
  6. Beginner Orchestra Cellos at 8:45 will report to the Music Room
  7. Younger Violin Class at 8:45 will report to Room A150.
  8. Intermediate Orchestra at 10:00 will report to Music Room.
  9. Younger Violin Theory Class at 10:00 will stay in their new room, Room A150.

Teacher’s Meeting Rescheduled

The teacher’s meeting originally scheduled for Friday, March 3 will be moved to Friday, March 10.

On March 10 we will have both a teacher’s meeting and theory teacher’s meeting.

Stop by the Information Table on March 3 to pick up your February Contract Laborer pay.

 

History Bowl Info for Monday, February 27 at SBU from 10:00-3:00

IF you love History this would be a great opportunity.  They need 2 more people to fill out a team. Each team will be given 10 questions from each of these categories:  US Presidents, US Political History, Military History, Colonial and Revolutionary American, Jacksonian America, Civil War Era, Ancient and Near East and Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome, and Renaissance and Reformation Europe.  They will meet tomorrow Friday, Feb. 24 from 11:00-12:45 in Room 205 at Asbury.  Contact Charlene Huff for more information at 417-399-6157 or email chuff004@yahoo.com

 

 

Federation on Saturday,  March 4, 2017

  1. Students that signed up for this optional schedule should stop by the Information Table to pick up a schedule and map for March 4.
  2. Be sure to meet with Kathy Love to hear your solo tomorrow anytime from 11 to 1:30, if you are not already working with a private teacher.I would be happy to help anyone.

 

LHE Home School Rally on Tuesday, March 7 in Jefferson City

  1. Performers will include students in Concert Choir, Bel Canto, Beethoven, Brahms, and Adoration Band.Sign Up at Information Table if you have not already.
  2. Combined practice of Agnus Dei and The Lord Bless You and Keep You on Friday, March 3 at Noon in the Sanctuary for those performers going on March 7.

  5.  Dress on March 7 will be concert black and black bow ties for the guys
  6. Allow extra time for security check and enter on east side of Capital building at the Carriage entrance.Use the middle door.
  7. Set-Up and Warm-Up will be at 11:30 in the Rotunda.
  8. Perform 12:25-1:00.

PSHP Banquet Information for Saturday, March 25 at Aldersgate UMC in Nixa at 6:00

  2. The Decorations Committee is using a 50”s Theme and is looking to borrow metal model cars or trucks that are 1:18 or 1:24 size or about 6-8”.Contact Janiece Struble at 417-844-6984 (text or call) and please text her a picture of what you have.
  3. Decorators are needed to help Janeice Struble and Jemma Russell on March 25 from 10:00 to 2:00ish.Lunch will be provided.
  4. Students ages 10 and 11 are needed as drink servers and will be trained at 3:00 on March 25.
  5. Students ages 12 and 13, or high school students that aren’t performing or are only performing in Agnus Dei and The Lord Bless you and Keep You, are needed as table servers and will be trained at 3:00 on March 25.  Adoration Band students can serve.
  6. All student performers and servers will be served dinner that day at 4:30.

  1. Beginner and Intermediate Band classes will meet in separate classes this week.
  2. Please make sure that the Choir Room is set for the afternoon choirs, before their class time starts at 12:45.  Mezzo and Singer’s Choir meet in the Choir Room, not in the Sanctuary.
