Theory: Bach Year 2 Theory Assignments for 11.8.2019
Class, we have now reached the end of our time of review and are moving into brand new stuff. You’re doing very well! This week we focused on articulations, of which there are really many types. We focused on a few common ones that you will encounter often over the course of your musical career.
Have you ever thought about what it might be like to be the conductor? Try this game from the San Fransisco Symphony Orchestra to find out! Don’t forget to start by learning the right hand gestures and then left hand gestures. Then try conducting the Firebird!
My musical happy moment this week is a performance of Old MacDonald’s Deformed Farm by Lunch Break, a Barbershop Quartet during their show at Carnegie Hall in 2014.
Sincerely,
