Older Beginner Violins from 10.28.16

Practice pp. 13, 14, 15
Remember your bow hold:
Do bow hold exercises: Windshield wiper, rocket ship up and down, and the Spider Crawl–your favorite! ?
Remember the proper bow hold (SEE PICTURE BELOW):
The stick is a pool. Your pointer finger only likes the water a little bit, so he just puts his feet in. The middle two fingers love the water, so they dive all the way in. Your pinky is a cat. She hates water, so she stays on the very edge, nice and curved, just like a scared cat. Remember to put your thumb on the bump of the frog, and to curve its knuckle out.
BONUS ACTIVITY (for 5 extra tickets!):
Do the Spider Crawl bow exercise–with a good bow hold–going all the way up and down, without dropping your bow.
