- All students, teachers, and weekly volunteers will have their headshots taken tomorrow in the room across from Asbury’s office. All students will be called with their classes. You may wear anything for these pictures, but the Yearbook staff has asked that you not wear white shirts or light tan shirts. Adults can stop by at any time for their picture.
- All high school girls who ordered a concert dress this year will need to bring their concert shoes with them tomorrow to get their dresses measured for the hemming if they did not last week. The dresses will be hemmed free of charge and returned in the next couple of week. Please report to the Music Library to be fitted.
- First Day of Pictures by appointment is tomorrow. Please bring cash or check made out to Jennifer Mitchell. You can still sign up for Individual or Sibling Pictures Packages of your family and or your children, which you can order. Pictures will be taken outside tomorrow and November 8. Try to sign up when your children are not in classes, if at all possible. Each family will pay a $5 per family for a sitting fee. Order forms are at the Picture Table near the north door.
- Hand Me Around tomorrow!!! Clean out your closets and book shelves for our “Hand Me Around”. You can bring clothes and books that you no longer need to bless other families. Each family can take whatever they need.
- Tomorrow is our first Friday Fundraiser day. If you have someone that you would like to bake, make, or sell we have designated the last Friday of the month for these days. All proceeds from the fundraisers will go towards PSHP so we can purchase items like: percussion equipment, band music, music for combined pieces and miscellaneous items.
- All students are asked to bring all of their Christmas music and books tomorrow! They will need this music each Friday through Christmas.
- We are ordering a second batch of these music stands if you missed out on the first batch. Please sign up and pay $30 at the Payment table. We will place orders after October 8. These are normally $42 durable stands that compact into a carrying bag that is included.
- All students and parents should stop by the Information Table on Friday to proof your information for the Directory that we will be publishing. We would like to correct as many mistakes before we print them.
- Be sure to check the website for class assignments or bonus questions. Each student ages 8-13 in the beginner or intermediate classes will receive a ticket for each 30 minutes of practice. These tickets can be redeemed at the end of each semester for prizes. http://playhispraises.com

Looking Ahead

We will set up a table for t-shirt designs.
Love Collection for one of our families
There will be a sign up at the Information Table if you would like to bring a meal for the Richardsons for their family of 3 on a Friday that we have PSHP classes. This can be frozen or ready to bake.
We will have a donation box set up at the Information Table for donations to the Richardson family. Angie, the mom of our PSHP student Ashlynn, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. She started treatments this week at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. She will have to receive all of her treatments in Houston each week because it is a trial medicine. She will get a 2-hour treatment each Tuesday and a 6-hour treatment on Wednesday. They will be driving back and forth from Springfield to Houston each week.
We are collecting monetary donations, gas gift cards, and restaurant gift cards to bless this family this fall. Please pray for Angie, Ashlynn, and Roger. There is also a chili fundraiser on Saturday, November 3 that I will get more details for.
