Announcements for Sept. 23
1. Payment Day is from 8:45-2:00 at the Payment Table near the Sanctuary Doors. Please come with cash or check and be prepared to pay for 3 Fridays worth of classes and $5 per family church usage fee. This is new this year and we are hoping that the same payment will make it easier.
2. New Parent Mixer at 10 and 2 in the Fellowship Hall. Please stop by for the Meet and Greet and to get goodies and be treated to coffee or lemonade. Come with any questions that you might have.
3. Orchestra classes, except for Beginner students, will announce seat try out results.
4. Stay tuned for the Photo Date, as the October 30 date might be changing to an earlier date.
5. We are in need of another adult to help with Kitchen Duty from 12-1 each Friday. Please email Kathy Love at KALcello@cs.com if you are interested in this weekly job in exchange for a credit off of your family bill.
6. Adoration Band students please check your calendar and your family’s calendar to see about availability to perform at a the homeschool football team, The Chargers, on either:
Friday, Oct. 14th at 6:15, Sat. Oct. 22 at 1:15, or on Friday Nov. 4 at 6:15.
We will discuss these dates in class this week and hope to come up with a date.
7. The WiFi internet access at the church will turned off on Fridays starting tomorrow from 9-1. The Asbury church office is now open on Friday and the secretary could not open any emails last Friday. We are looking into other options, but they might not be economically feasible. Please make arrangements to bring a hot spot or use a cell phone internet sharing if you must use the internet during that time. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
8. Please be considerate of others as we have a lot of people in this small space.
9. Please keep siblings and children under 13 within eye shot and sound of a parent at all times.
Room Changes
1. 8:45 Beginner Band Clarinet and Saxophone Class will meet in Room 104 with teacher Melanie Bush
2. 12:00 Yearbook will meet in the Connections Office and/or AV room, across from the main office
3. 12:45 Mezzo Choir will practice in the Music Room
4. 1:45 Singers Choir will practice in the Music Room
5. 1:45 Bach Orchestra will practice in the Sanctuary
Set-Up and Mid-Day Crew
1. Please make sure that the church mailboxes, that are on the wooden divider in the Fellowship Hall, are easily accessible to the church members and the church secretary.
2. Many of the rooms have changed at the Noon time, so be sure to check the number of chairs needed. The 12:45 choir will be meeting in the music room, so they will need more chairs now.

1. Thank you to Keen Bean Coffee Shop in Mt. Vernon for donating coffee and syrups for our coffee bar. What a blessing!
2. Thank you to last year’s Beethoven Orchestra for their great performance last Saturday night as preconcert to the Springfield Symphony concert! I was so pleased with your sound! Thank you again.
