Review your flashcards

Practice your bow hold

  • Remember to keep your right shoulder down
  • Grip the bow with your index finger (pointer finger) on the bow grip
  • Curve your pinky and thumb

Practice adding bow to open strings only this week on pg. 16 and 17

Note the next 2 weeks start in the Sanctuary for our combined practice with the beginner violin, beginner violas, and beginner harps.

Practice these songs for the Christmas recital, these are all in the Essential Elements Book 1:

 

Add your bow to #32 and #31.  Practice the other songs pizzicato.  After you are comfortable with a song, you can try adding your bow.  Go slowly and be patient.
