Practice from rehearsal letter F to rehearsal letter G in “Joy to the World.”  Also start practicing the exercises on pages 8 and 9 of your Essential Elements book.  Remember that we won’t see you next Friday, so use that extra time to get these two pages down!  Remember to practice at consistent, really slow tempos (use a metronome to accomplish this).  CONTINUE TO NOT WRITE IN THE NOTES.  I know this makes the process of learning music very slow at first, but it really will allow you to learn music so much better in the long run.  Lastly, remember to enjoy making music!  It’s to learn new instruments and new notes, but ultimately, this process is about learning how to worship God better, not get “correct” posture, notes, playing, etc.  Have fun!
