-Make dramatic dynamic contrast
-Watch me at the end for the ritard and cut off
-add more vibrato!

Swallowtail Jig, #161
-practice slowly, then build tempo
-use shorter, articulated bows for eighth notes
-you must learn your part at home and you must play in tempo with the class. Don’t make me call you out to play in front of everyone! I see you.

Wexford Circle
-learn your part at home this week! Look at the details. Look it up on YouTube. We will be playing this together next class.
-if you missed class and do not have a copy of Wexford Circle stapled into your book please see me at the beginning of next class.

Be sure to bring your stand, Essential Elements and Sacred Settings books, instrument and pencil on stage at the beginning of class. Don’t forget to rosin before you take your seat.
