Good work today on the new piece for Christmas, “Mary, Did You Know.”  Please pay close attention to the rhythm, which is different than what you’ve grown accustomed to if you’ve heard it on the radio.

We also decided that “Our Great God” will be all unison through the whole song instead of using harmony. We also discussed a couple of discrepancies on the vocal sheet, and how discernment is needed when finding and using printed materials for worship. Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean it’s accurate.

We also discussed briefly how to lead a congregation to continue worshipping through interludes when they aren’t singing. It’s an important thing to think through as you also are worshipping.

For next week, keep practicing each of the songs. You are doing good work!
