Percussion Ensemble Assignments:

Practice the assigned rudiments and continue working on Etude #1 from Portraits in Rhythm.  Practice the whole etude now, while still going slow enough to use the necessary dynamics, accents, and rhythms.  Making it musical is more important than getting it right.  Also, the rudiments you’re working on will help you TONS with your stick control, so practice them!
