Intermediate Percussion Assignments:

Practice the two rudiments that you circled on your rudiment pages and pages 18-A and 18-B in your beginner Essential Elements book.  When practicing flams, make sure to NOT buzz any notes.  Instead, keep both notes of the flam crisp and clear, while also making sure that the accented hand is lifted high into the air with your wrist and the non-accented hand is very low and close to the drum head.  These rudiments will help you TONS with your hands, and are a big step toward musical and creative drumming.  So have fun with them!
