This week, try to use your flashcards with a family member…have them show you a note, and you then play it on your violin!  See if you can get them right faster and faster!

Essential Elements book pages 19-20, and the first two exercises at the top of pg. 21.  Be careful to keep a steady beat, counting eighth notes and quarter notes carefully.  It will help to clap or tap the rhythms before you play each piece.

Ticket challenge:  each student received a student evaluation sheet with tips for improvement.  Bring that sheet back, signed by a parent and receive a ticket at the next class!
