Practice EE1 Book pg. 7 and 8
Keep working on your tall backs and sitting at the front part of your chair
The cello C peg will be close to your left ear
Remember that each time you put down a finger on a tape that you will go to the next letter in the musical alphabet
D String notes=0 fingers=open D string
1st finger down on the red tape=E
(2nd finger will touch the string, but doesn’t have a tape, as it doesn’t play by itself)
(thumb will be curved underneath 2nd finger and touching the back of the cello neck)
3rd finger will be on the white tape=F# (f sharp) (all 3 fingers will be on the string)
4th finger will be on the blue tape=G (all 4 fingers will be touching the D string)
