Important Dates for Fall

Friday, August 17

Auditions for all students that want to move to the next class.  See attached sheet for auditions or website for Band Auditions.  Check the specific time for each group.

Friday, August 24

Registration and Book Sale Day for all returning students and new students.  Plan for 1-2 hours for this event.  Please  bring check or cash to pay for your books.  Sign up to help teach or to help with a set-up or clean-up crew.  Also sign-ups for parents for Hall Monitor and volunteer opportunities.

o   9:00-10:15          Returning students or returning families register

o   10:30                    New student Registration last name A-L

o   11:30                    New student Registration last name M-Z

Friday, August 31

o   9:00-10:00           New Adult Teacher Meeting

o   10:00-1:30           Required Adult and Student Teacher Meeting.  Bring $3 for lunch: pizza, salad, dessert, and drink.

Friday, September 7                       First Day of Classes PSHP 2018-2019

Friday, March 15                               Spring Break

Friday, April 19                                  Easter Break

Friday, May 17                                   Last day of classes at Asbury

Monday, May 20                              Final Concert for Beginner and Intermediate Classes

For Bel Canto Audtion:

Students should prepare this hymn, on the vocal part they are most comfortable with.

Praise and Worship Audition Information:

The auditions for Praise and Worship will be this Friday, August 17 from 10:30-11:30 in the choir/music room.
Please see below for more information.
Links for “What a Beautiful Name It Is” in the Key of D.  They Should Print Out the Chord Chart on the Top Link and Bring to the Audition.  If they have an amplified instrument, they need to bring their own amp.  Vocalists:  Come prepared to sing melody and ready to sight-read this song on chorus with harmonies.
