Reminders: Practice with a metronome at all times to keep steady rhythm, and if you encounter problems while practicing a particular section in a piece, don’t just restart the whole piece. FIX WHAT IS WRONG. And once you fix it, play the right way several times. Remember, practice makes permanent, not perfect, so if you’ve played that section wrong several times, play it right at least as many times if not more.
