Notes for Parents and Students

1. Payment Day for September classes is due tomorrow.  The Payment Table is located outside of the Sanctuary area in the Fellowship Hall and is open from 8:45-3:00.  We accept cash or checks, made out to PSHP or Kathy Love.  September fees include 3 Fridays of classes, plus a $7 church usage per family.
2. Tomorrow is a Meet and Greet Day for the parents of  new families at 10:00 and 2:00 in the Fellowship Hall.  Please join us for snacks and free coffee.  This is a great time to meet others and ask any questions.
3. Tomorrow is a Friend’s Meeting at 12:10 in Room 203.  This meeting is open to all parents.  We help plan events of PSHP and brain storm new ideas.  This group plans the Prize Store, helps at the Information Table, plans the Adult Teacher and Student Teacher luncheons and other fun events.
4. Be aware of the extra traffic and congestion tomorrow as Wonders of Wildlife will be having their grand opening.
5. Year Book Class meets tomorrow at Noon in Room 104.
6. Chair Auditions results will be announced tomorrow in class.  First and Second Violins in Beethoven and Brahms will also receive their books that are part specific.
7. If you are a Senior this year, please sign up at the Information Table so the Yearbook staff can make plans and as we plan our first PSHP Graduation.
8. Tomorrow is the last day for any high school girl to have a dress fitting for their concert dress.  We will be ordering dresses to ensure our free shipping and to be able to have the dresses hemmed by the Beethoven/Brahms Orchestra’s first performance on November 11.
9. Sign Up for pictures of your children, sibling group, and /or family.  We will be selling photo packages and have photo sittings on Friday, October 27 and Friday, November 3.  These pictures are not what will be put in the Yearbook, but are to be purchased.  Please avoid direct conflict with your family’s class times if at all possible.  These make great Christmas presents.
10. Most of the back ordered music has arrived and will be delivered to your student(s) in class tomorrow.
11. The Guitar foot stools should be here next Friday, September 29.  A charge of $9.30 will be added to your family bill.

 

Meeting for Parent(s) of Graduation Seniors, Class of 2018

Andrea McCotter is looking for volunteers to help with our first PSHP Graduation Ceremony in April of 2018.  If you are a parent of a graduating senior please plan to attend a Meeting Friday, September 29 at 12:10 in Room 202.  Please also sign the list at the Information Table for the Year Book to know how many Seniors are graduating this year.
