Practice the exercises on page 13 of your Essential Elements book on bells (make sure you go to the bell side of the book)!  Try using the “secret” method of comparing notes to each other instead of trying to read each note individually.  Also look at exercise #153 Carnival of Venice (on page 29 of the bell side of your book).  This may seem like a lot of music, but if you can develop your music reading abilities to be quickly comparing notes to each other these pieces will come very quickly to you.  Next week we will be rehearsing these pieces with the band, so practice hard!
