Jolly Old St. Nicholas: practice both parts
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen: Practice the A part with pizzicato, and then drill the transition from the end of the A part with pizz to the beginning with the bow.
As long as we can find rooms, we will do sectionals next week to work on parts (B part = 2nd violins (and first violins for practice only!), C= violas, D= cellos).
Changes to Ode to Joy:
Write in the new bow directions and rhythms. It won’t hurt to circle your 4th finger markings and the eighth notes.
