Practice "Little Drummer Boy" and "Up On the Housetop." Remember, "Jolly Old St. Nick" will not be played at the concert next week, so focus on the other tunes we are playing. Particularly, on "Little Drummer Boy," make sure you are paying attention to the quarter rests on beat 1. DO NOT play there. If you ignore the rest and just start playing the notes, it’s just slightly off from the rest of the band and sounds strange. Work hard this week!
