Beginner Harp;
Great job! I was so impressed with your note reading skills after just one week! This week practice page 4, and write in the note names! On Copy-Cat, remember to keep whichever hand ISN’T playing on the last string it played so it’s ready to come back in again and you haven’t lost your spot!
Waltz should be pretty simple, since both your hands are playing the same notes at the exact same time, just watch your counting and only use finger 2.
The last song has different rhythm in the right and left hand, but you’re still playing the same notes. When your RH has a C, so does the LH…
Advanced Intermediate Harp;
Whew! "Folk Song" has some tricky rhythm! This week I’d like for both "Folk Song" and "Swedish Folk-Dance" to be finished up. This means paying close attention to the fingering, brackets, and style of the piece. Make them interesting to listen to! Your new assignment is to begin "The Jolly Peasant" on page 12.

Playing staccatos can be tricky, and you can always make them more dramatic to add flare to this song! Your new assignments for this week are on page 10; "Sur le Pont d’Avignon" and "Long, Long Ago". Begin practicing hands separate so you can nail the fingering, then work on combing the R and L hand.
Begin "Mary did you know?" and go slowly!
