FREE String Quartet Concert at the Art Museum

Please join members of St. Mark’s 2 (St. Mark’s Square) for an intimate evening of chamber music in the Museum’s Courtyard Gallery. St. Mark’s 2 is a string quartet featuring permanent chair musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. The members of St. Mark’s 2 have performed around the world, from Broadway to Carnegie Hall to concert stages abroad. The ensemble will offer a colorful program of music to celebrate Winter. Due to generous grant funding from the Springfield Regional Arts Council, through Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ Arts & Culture fund donors, this concert is FREE and open to the public.

*Seating is limited. Please plan to arrive early or contact the Museum in advance if you require a seat. The concert may be standing room only.

Beethoven Corialon Overture with the Youth Symphony

Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto

Mahler’s Mathis de Maler (including having the 3 pictures on display that inspired the music and an explanation from Kyle Wiley-Pickett)

Cost:  $12.50 at the Box Office (they no longer use vouchers)  The price is open to anyone.
