Set-Up Crew and Mid-Day Crew Notes for Dec. 11

Set up Crew arrive by 9:00 to set up rooms needed for warm-up and the Sanctuary

Clean Up Crew from 12:30 to 1:00. Some of the rooms will be ready for clean up before 12:30, if that helps your schedule.

· I will need all information for the Dec. 11 program by tonight at 10:00 pm. Please email or text me!!

Student and Parent Reminders

1. Payment Day for November and December was last Friday, Dec. 4. Please pay for the 3 Fridays in November and the 1 Friday in December, plus a $7 concert fee per family to help pay for facility rental, teacher gifts, and programs. If you have not paid, please put it in an envelope and deliver to Kathy Love.

2. Picture orders from October 30 will be at the Information Table ready for pick-up. Thank you to Suzannah Schrenk.

3. See below for general concert dress requirements or refer to the Handbook pages 11 and 12:

· December Concert Dress for all Beginner classes, Singer’s choir, and Intermediate Orchestra

Nice church clothes. See page 11 in Handbook for more information.

· December Concert Dress for all Intermediate Classes (except for Int. Orch), Mezzo Choir, Bach, and Advance Guitar

Black or Black and White. See page 12 in Handbook for more information.

· December Concert Dress for all high schoolers in advance classes

Girls Black Concert dress. Feel free to add red, green, or gold accents (hair ribbons, vests, sweaters, scarves, etc.)

Guys: Dark slacks, white or black dress shirts, red tie, Red or green accents if you wish.

Christmas Concert for all beginner and intermediate classes at Asbury, joined by Concert Choir and Beethoven for a finale. Each class is scheduled for a 10-15 minute performance between 10 am and 12:30 pm. Please plan early so working parents or grandparents can rearrange their schedules for this special day. Special Finale of all choir students, including Concert Choir and Beethoven Students

2. Friday, Dec. 11 Kathy Love cell 417-830-0303

Bring music, stand, instrument. Dress is concert black and Christmas accents, just like our Saturday concert.

12:45 Meet at Creekside Retirement Center, in the lobby, 1601 S. Fort, Spfld, MO 65807.

2 blocks north of Sunshine and Fort intersection.

All Brahms and Bel Canto students are required to attend.

Optional for Beethoven and Concert Choir.

We will use their grand piano in the lobby.

1:00-1:35 Perform in the lobby at Creekside

1:45-2:25 Eat and/or travel. (possibilities Chick Fil A, McDonalds, Taco Bell)

2:45 Meet at Manor Care, 2915 S. Fremont, Spfld, MO 65804. This is close to Battlefield and Fremont, and across from the Sears in the Battlefield Mall.

We will need our keyboard for this performance.

3:00-4:00 Perform

4:00 Pick Up from Manor Care

3. Tuesday, Dec. 15 Brahms performs at Barnes and Noble, 3055 S. Glenstone, Spfld, MO 65804,

near Glenstone and Battlefield

4:40 Brahms meet to warm-up (optional for any Beethoven students)

5:00-5:45 Brahms performs

4. Thursday, Dec. 17 Brahms performs at Glendale Gardens, 3535 E. Cherokee, (used to be Christian Healthcare East). Near Hwy 65 and Sunshine and Sam’s Club. Head east on Sunshine, turn south on Bedford and follow the street around until it turns into Cherokee. You can see the nursing home from Hwy 65.

1:40 Brahms meet to warm-up (optional for any Beethoven students)

2:00-3:00 Brahms performs

5. NO Classes on Friday, Dec. 18, Dec. 25, or Jan. 1. Classes resume on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016.
