Review p. 2 for cello part names

Good cello posture. Tall back and sit at the front part of your chair.

Review p. 4 and 5 for D and A string. Practice a firm pull on the string for the plucking of the string by your right pointer finger. Remember to plant your right thumb on the edge of the fingerboard.

New p. 6 Practice forming the shape of the letter C with your left hand.

Strengthen your left hand by opening and shutting your left hand

Learn Finger numbers of left hand:

Finger 1=pointer finger (red tape)

Finger 2=middle finger

Finger 3=ring finger (white tape)

Finger 4=pinky finger (blue tape)

Thumb goes under the cello neck underneath the second finger
