Work on "Glory Joy and Crown" on bells. Make sure you are playing the rhythm properly as well as the notes. And yes, you can skip the multi-measure rests! Also work on the exercises of page 18 of your Essential Elements book on bells (and snare if possible, though we’ll go over it in class).
You have all worked very hard this semester, and even though I want to encourage you to continue working hard, also remember that we practice and play music for God’s glory and pleasure, so don’t put on yourself the pressure of "I have to get every note exactly right" or "this must be perfect." We are free from such crippling worries because Christ already says that He loves us. So enjoy playing music this week!
