Livestream Concert Featuring Bryan Cheng: Tuesday, March 31, 2020

Please see below for information about the cellist who was supposed to have performed with the Springfield Symphony in April.  He is performing from his apartment Tuesday at 2:00.  I miss seeing all of you.  I am sending out another email with more information about assignments.

Blessings,

Kathy Love

Concert information

We hope you are all staying safe and healthy at home around the world. Amidst this time of uncertainty, self-isolation, and cancelled events (including 20 of our concerts through the end of May), we would personally like to bring some comforting and uplifting music to you, to brighten up your spirits and continue to spread hope.

With this in mind, next week we will be presenting our first-ever Facebook Live concert, in collaboration with Canada’s National Arts Centre and Facebook Canada, a FREE hour-long livestream concert directly from our living room in NYC to you!

For those of you who may not have a Facebook account, although you won’t be able to join us live, you’ll still be able to watch the concert – it will be saved on our Facebook page for public viewing immediately afterwards (ie. after 4pm EST). For those who do plan on joining us live, there may be times when the connection glitches due to the high volume of internet usage these days – if so, simply reload/refresh our Facebook page and click on the livestream to connect again.

Feel free to share this information with your family, friends, and colleagues who would enjoy having some musical respite and being part of an online community of arts appreciators. We’ll be hosting a Q&A session near the end of the 60 min. livestream; your questions and comments would be most welcome!

Something fun:

In the meantime, we are happy to share our first #COVIDeo below, a classical/jazz crossover collaboration with NYC-based drummer Evan Sherman. Sending you all positive energy and looking forward to connecting with you online next week! 🙂
