Bach Theory: Year 2 Assignments for 1.26.2018
We had a tough challenge with rhythmic dictation this week, but you all did well. Being able to listen and identify rhythms is a real life skill that will come in handy if you ever need to step into an ensemble and don’t have sheet music to rely on. Training your ears to pick up rhythms will make things easier for you down the road. If you’d like a bit of extra practice doing that, follow this link to find some good practice: Rhythmic Dictation. You can set the difficulty level, though I would recommend only the easy or medium for awhile.
I’ve been enjoying listening to some good bluegrass music this week, so I thought I’d pass along one of my favorite musical happy moments, the Foggy Bottom Breakdown from Boys with Banjos Who Know How to Use Them.
